In this update, we've finished the Ranged QB Export feature, added two new reports while enhancing a third one, added a QoL enhancement and fixed a couple bugs while we were at it.
- Ranged Quickbooks Export
You can now select a range of dates for export and Dassle will create a single QB export for them, totaled, dated for the final day in the range. If you make deposits once a week, or don't deposit your weekend's revenue until Monday, this will help keep Quickbooks matching your bank deposits.
- New Daily AR and Daily Expense Reports
Taking cues from the All Entries report. the new Daily AR and Daily Expense Reports now break down into individual entry sheets, making it easier to reconcile and find any miscoded AR or Expense entries
- New Conqueror Void Report
In POS Reports > Conqueror, you'll now find a void/refund report! It will show the full receipts of any that contain a void or a refund.
- Reorder Entries in Default Entry Sheets
In Default Entry Sheets' setup screen, you can now opt to sort them automatically by entry name or linked account number. You can still set individual positions too, by changing the numbers in the Position column.
- Tax Range Report
Negative taxes (from refunds) were not showing on the Tax Range report.
- Automatic AR Offset
Fixed an issue where selecting a customer for an AR offset would show correctly in Dassle, but not export out correctly to Quickbooks.
This is a big update, with a lot of outstanding bugs fixed, new enhancements for reports, a feature allowing us to install Dassle onto more secure locations, and plenty of Quality of Life improvements. In addition we have been preparing for exciting new updates for this year, including looking at a new integration! As always, if you encounter any bugs or have feature requests, please let us know via phone or email.
- Automatic AR for Intercard Games
Added the ability to set an AR entry to be created for a specified customer whenever games are imported
- More secure Intercard Importing
Added the ability to do intercard imports over HTTPS, adding another layer of security to your daily accounting
- Expense Memos in Quickbooks Export
Expense memos are now added into the QB IIF export file, like check memos
- New Center Parameters
Dassle now tracks money scale com port and other options from the registry and into the database, with new options inthe parameters window
- Dates in Tax Range Report
Tax range now shows date that taxes were collected, along with date and time that this information was imported into Dassle
- New Permissions
A range of new permissions were added, including ones to require a user to add a memo to an AR, check, or expense before saving them
- Delete Entry Sheet Permission
Clients upgrading from older versions of Dassle did not have the correct database hooks to allow for deleting individual shifts.
- Hide Zeroes on League Balances Report
Hide Zeroes now properly hides empty prize funds on the League Balances report
- Conqueror Extended Data Report Duplication
Fixed issue where Extended Data was not properly clearing with each import, leading to greatly inflated games numbers on that report. This did not affect accounting but did limit the usefulness of that report. The first time you open up the Conqueror Extended Data report, Dassle will automatically check to see if you were affected by this bug. If you were, you will then be asked if you'd like Dassle to apply a one-time fix to eliminate the old duplication.
- Registry Save/Lookup
Dassle now properly saves registry values to HKLM at all times and not in the VirtualStore when run on a computer with UAC turned on.
